The design of REALM's Bangkok branch is inspired by the concept of nature and local identity, with the cashew tree as the main symbol of the store. The structure is designed as a modern box that is open and vibrant, with a terrace feature in the air-conditioned space, allowing customers to enjoy the external view. The building is divided into two main areas: the customer area and coffee bar at the front, and the kitchen, bakery, and restroom at the back, all connected through the building's system, creating a seamless experience. The interior design interprets the cashew tree by using lines that reflect the terrain of Khao Koh Song on the ceiling and textured walls, representing the natural beauty of the southern region. The color scheme and materials, with gradients from light to dark, symbolize the roasting process of cashew nuts. The use of metal lamps that are fired to create a color gradient enhances the shimmering water effect. The façade design serves as a protective shield for the building and includes perforations to allow light and shadow to change throughout the day. The craftsmanship and interior design details are carefully curated, featuring wooden furniture produced by HOOG, and a woven rattan stair railing crafted by Thai artisans with brass from Chiang Mai. Specially designed cashew nut pendant lights are also incorporated. Additionally, the air conditioning system is hidden in the ceiling, and the air vents are curved to maintain the space's aesthetic integrity. The store also features custom-designed speakers produced in Thailand, as well as stickers that tell the story of the brand for customers to engage with.
