Rising five stories above the street, this two-unit commercial building has been transformed into a vertical journey of experiences. The design orchestrates a rich sequence of spaces — from a specialty café and restaurant on the first two floors, to a professional kitchen and office above, an airy co-working space on the fourth, a tranquil yoga studio on the fifth, and finally, a rooftop bar where the city meets the sky. Design inspiration from K’Kaan’s hometown in TURKEY, the architecture channels the spirit of the Mediterranean coast — sun-washed hues, soft stone textures, and fluid, sculptural lines that echo the rhythm of waves. The aesthetic blends modern craftsmanship and understated luxury with a dreamlike, almost cinematic quality. Each level becomes its own chapter, connected by a design language that captures the warmth of Greek hospitality and the openness of a beach horizon, creating a destination that is both grounded in culture and elevated in imagination. . The Bohemian concept (Bohem or Bohemian tarzı in Turkish) represents more than a nostalgic vintage style—it is a lifestyle rooted in freedom, artistry, and cultural fusion. Drawing from the traditions of the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and the Balkans, this philosophy celebrates handmade craft, tactile richness, and layered cultural narratives. Rather than replicating a decorative theme, the interior design reflects this essence through spatial planning, materiality, and atmosphere. . PSD crafted the six-story program to embody this spirit in every layer of design: the first and second floors form a café that integrates warm textures with natural stone, earthy surfaces, and artisanal loose furniture to evoke authenticity and comfort. The third floor accommodates LUCCA’s back-of-house, while the fourth and fifth floors introduce multifunctional spaces designed with flexible layouts, adaptable lighting, and textured finishes that encourage creativity and community engagement. Finally, the rooftop becomes an open-air extension of the Bohemian lifestyle, blending organic materials, crafted details, and an immersive sense of place that reflects both cultural depth and contemporary expression.
