Much & Mellow at Central Krabi is the brand’s fifth branch and the first location situated within a shopping mall under the Central Group. Located at the front of Central Krabi, close to the main road, the storefront is designed with a simple and understated approach, placing emphasis on an oversized croissant as the main feature. This large croissant functions as an iconic signage element and serves as the central theme of the design concept for this branch. The iconic signage plays a key role in creating strong brand recognition and visual identity.

Inside the store, the overall design concept focuses on softness and rounded forms inspired by the shape of a croissant. This design language is consistently applied across various details throughout the space, resulting in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that avoids rigidity. The overall spatial concept highlights craftsmanship, particularly at the bar counter, where handmade tiles with rich colors and textures are used. Skilled craftsmanship is emphasized through the careful arrangement of tiles, ensuring a balanced and visually pleasing composition.

The interior walls feature textured finishes that express a raw and organic character, achieved through plastering techniques and randomly applied paint, all executed by local craftsmen. In addition, selected wall areas incorporate the shop’s signage alongside hand-painted artwork created by local artists, adding warmth, storytelling, and vibrancy to the interior space.

Furniture selection also emphasizes craftsmanship and draws inspiration from local artisanal traditions. For example, tabletops are finished with mosaic tiles arranged into decorative patterns, while the table legs are inspired by the forms of traditional antique beads an expression of local handcrafted heritage.
