TOGETA HOUSE Located at Odeon Circle, sits within an area rich in history and collective memory a place that once stood at the heart of Bangkok’s entertainment scene. From the iconic Odeon Circle Arch, built to commemorate the 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, to the Odeon Cinema, once one of the city’s most popular movie theaters, and the streets connecting the neighborhood to Hua Lamphong Railway Station, this area holds layers of stories that continue to shape its identity.

Inspired by the site’s historical context, the design team reinterprets the language of cinema as the core concept behind TOGETA HOUSE. Memories of the old movie theater are brought back to life through a series of thoughtful design details from the movie showtime listings traditionally displayed on cinema facades and LED screens reminiscent of film projections, to bar edges inspired by film reels and oversized speakers that serve as key elements of the space. On the second floor, the slow bar takes inspiration from the snack and beverage counters once found inside traditional cinemas.

More than just a place to enjoy coffee, TOGETA HOUSE transforms the stories of its surroundings into a contemporary experience. It aims to become a new gathering place where people, stories, and memories of the past come together with the rhythms of everyday life today.

The interior design of TOGETA HOUSE takes cinema as its main concept. On the first floor, a circular bar sits at the center of the space, cleverly concealing the building’s original structural columns. The cinema theme is reflected in details throughout the space, from the zoetrope, an early device that creates the illusion of movement from still images, to the concept of 24 frames per second (24 FPS). These elements are reinterpreted through contemporary design, creating a coffee experience that goes beyond simply enjoying a cup of coffee.

The third and fourth floors house a restaurant and a yoga space, bringing people together through food and shared activities. The design focuses on simplicity and accessibility, creating a relaxed atmosphere where people can connect, spend time, and enjoy different experiences under one roof.

On the fifth floor, an open rooftop offers panoramic views of the city and provides a flexible space for future events and exhibitions. More than just a coffee shop, TOGETA HOUSE brings new life to the stories and memories of the place, creating a contemporary gathering space where people, food, and experiences come together.
